Just a Few Irish Hours

What a lovely, if short, stay in Dublin. I was reminded of what a fun and welcoming city it is, and I quickly felt at home, walking familiar streets. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I found my way to my destinations, remembering quirks of well traveled places as if it was only yesterday I was here last.

I met a lovely Norweigian girl on check in at my hostel, and was able to show her around Temple Bar. We even managed a dinner at Zaytoon for Persian food and oh boy, it was even better than I remembered it! Soooo yummy!

We spent a few hours laughing about cultural differences, and it was so fun to spend time with this complete stranger and realize how quickly a friendship was formed.

I didn't rest much, but I enjoyed being one of the few crossing the Liffey at 5 this morning.

On to Paris, where a much needed shower and uninterrupted nap await :)
